About Dr. Childress

Dr. Brandi N. Childress is a native of Columbus, Georgia.  She received her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Sherman College of Straight Chiropractic located in Spartanburg, South Carolina.  Prior to her chiropractic education, she attended Alabama State University where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology.

Dr. Childress is a full spine practitioner with a special affinity for children. She received training in Pediatric Chiropractic Analysis, Gonstead, Activator, Diversified, and Thompson Techniques. Dr. Childress takes the above, down, inside, and out approach with the belief that the body can heal itself when there is no presence of nervous interference. She cares for the spine and body as a whole. When not helping to change lives through chiropractic, you can find her in front of the classroom as a Professor of Biology. Dr. Childress lectures on Human Anatomy & Physiology, The Rise of Modern Science, The Ecological Perspective, and The Ecology & Environmental Sustainability.

In addition to serving her community through chiropractic, Dr. Childress is a member of the American Chiropractic Association, as well as the American Black Chiropractic Association where she serves as Communications Chair. Dr. Childress is also a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.  She actively participates in community service with organizations such as the American Cancer Society and American Diabetes Association.  Dr. Childress believes in staying on the cutting edge of the chiropractic profession and engages in multiple continuing education courses throughout the year. She is committed to providing top of the line care to the residents of the Smyrna – Vinnings - Marietta areas.
